Gill Ranch is a 7,052 acre ranch in southeast Sacramento County near the community of Wilton. The ranch consists of mostly gently rolling grasslands with over 500 acres of wetlands. Laguna Creek and Browns Creek flow through the property. Currently, over 2,000 head of cattle graze on the ranch. The ranch is considered an agricultural preserve. Gill Ranch Conservation Bank that has available vernal pool crustacean habitat credits for vernal pool fairy shrimp and vernal pool tadpole shrimp.
